Joe Peterson

Prior to joining Pipe Strong in 2018 as Operations Manager, Mr. Peterson worked in the Oil and Gas industry for the last 18 years on the owner/operator and engineering consulting sides of the business. During his tenure at Nicor Gas, he held multiple positions covering a variety of operational aspects of pipeline construction and maintenance in addition to pipeline facilities and gas storage. After leaving Nicor in 2011, he acted in an engineering consulting and project management capacity for numerous midstream oil & gas operators and gas utilities. He served as the Sr. Project Manager for the design, permitting, and construction oversight of the owner’s pipeline(s) and supporting storage and processing facilities. He held several senior managerial roles that included growing and directing a workforce across several offices in the Midwest and East Coast with P&L responsibilities for those regions.

Mr. Peterson holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University and a M.B.A. (With Distinction) from DePaul University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2012.
